  1. Do not apply hair styling products. Your hair will be sprayed with alcohol.
  2. Prior to the treatment, please take pain medication, Tylenol to reduce discomfort during

Botox ( Neuromodulator Injections)

Neuromodulators such as (Botox®, Dysport®, Jeuveau®, Xeomin®) are injected into specific areas to create a temporary loss of muscle movement, resulting in an improved appearance of the lines of the upper face and forehead, crow’s feet, and the deep lines between the eyebrows ( frown lines) to produce a smoother, youthful effect.

How Long Is The Procedure?

The procedure takes an average of 10 to 15 minutes to perform.

How Often Should I Get The Treatment?

This injection typically lasts about 3-4 months. After 3 or 4 injections, it has been noted to have a long-lasting effect in the elimination of the deep lines between the eyebrows, forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet.

Any Downtime?

No. There is no downtime however, you need to be in an upright position for at least 4 hours after the procedure. You should also avoid rubbing or touching your face in the

The masseter muscle is a facial muscle that connects our lower jaw to our cheeks. It is one of the several muscles responsible for chewing. When this muscle becomes enlarged for a variety of reasons, usually in patients who grind or clench their teeth, it can dramatically change the shape of your lower face.

Botox in the jaw (masseter) is typically used for:

  • Managing teeth grinding
  • Reducing jaw tension, pain, and clenching

During the procedure

Here’s what you can expect during the procedure:

  • A medical professional will clean your skin with an alcohol to reduce the risk of
    infection. They prepare a syringe with the botulinum toxin. The syringe will have

    procedure will be repeated on the other side. This typically lasts about 15
    minutes.

After the treatment

  5. We encourage you to arrive 30 minutes before your procedure time for the numbing part.

One of our staff will usher you into a room and cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser. Afterwards, she will apply your skin with a topical numbing agent. This will help reduce any discomfort you might feel during microneedling. During this time, they will prepare to take a sample of your blood for the PRP. They will place your blood in a centrifuge to separate the blood. Your Platelet Rich Plasma will be placed in small syringes for use during the procedure. This will take about 30 to 40 minutes. Afterwards, the numbing cream will be wiped off using alcohol to reduce the risk of infection.

Solei Clinic utilizes an FDA approved SKin Pen Microneedling device for the procedure. The microneedling device is moved over the surface of your skin in several directions. The depth of the needles can be adjusted during treatment, so they penetrate more
deeply into thicker areas of the skin and are gentler on the thinner parts. As the microneedling device is moved over the surface of the skin, the PRP will be applied during and after the procedure.

After the procedure, allow the PRP to dry on your skin without washing it off or applying anything on top of it for at least 4 to 6 hours. It is much better if you leave the PRP overnight.

For optimal results, strenuous activity should be avoided for the first 48 hours post treatment to avoid high spikes in blood pressure or heart rate. Specific medications to avoid are Ibuprofen, Naproxen and Aspirin.

Your results will become noticeable within six to eight weeks post-treatment. You will notice improved healing, reduced redness and general improvement in your skin's tone, texture and health. There should be continuous improvement in your skin's appearance over the next 3 to 4 months. It is recommended to have at least 2 to 3 sessions spaced 2 to 3 months apart for optimal results.

Aftercare Tips

  1. If you have bruising at the injection site, it may help to apply aloe vera, vitamin K, or arnica creams.
  2. Apply ice to your lips afterward using an ice pack or an ice cube covered in a thin cloth (so it doesn’t stick to the lip and cause pain). This will help ease swelling, itching, bruising, and any other pain.
  3. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 to 48 hours after you get lip or any other dermal fillers. Elevated blood pressure and heart rate from exercise may make swelling or bruising worse. It’s fine to engage in light activity, like walking.
  4. Stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water will help your body heal.
  5. Eat plenty of hydrating fruits and vegetables and try to avoid excess sodium, which may worsen swelling.
  6. Avoid high temperatures, like steam rooms, saunas, or heated exercise classes for 48 hours after treatment. High heat can make swelling more pronounced.
  7. You may take pain medications such as Tylenol.
  8. If you’re getting lip fillers for a specific event, make sure to leave plenty of time in between the procedure and the event to allow your lips to properly recover.
  9. Try to sleep with your head elevated on pillows to reduce swelling. Do not sleep on your face.
  10. Avoid makeup on your lips for up to 24 hours after the procedure.
